The parent and Family Center At Hazeltine Elementary
We aim to boost parent and family engagement for the overall success of out students. Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can come to learn and network with other parents. We have resources, hold monthly parent information workshops, and provide a space for all volunteers to help prepare for school activities.

Parent Volunteers
We always welcome volunteers at Hazeltine, the following are some suggestions for volunteer activities:
- Assisting in the Parent Center
- School Site Council/ELAC Meetings
- School Advisory Committee Meetings
- Chaperoning on field trips
- Assisting with school projects and events
PARENT VOLUNTEERS - REQUIREMENTS
- TB clearance – valid for 4 years
- Megan’s Law Check
- 16 hours or more per week need to be fingerprinted – valid for 2 years
- volunteers must reapply every year
