Welcome to Hazeltine Elementary school!  A school with rich traditions and a caring nurturing staff focused on preparing students for college, career, and ready for the world.  As your principal, I am excited to take this opportunity to continue supporting all students, staff, and families.  I feel both lucky and blessed to work at a school that is student-centered.  A school that places safety, social and emotional well-being, and rigorous instruction at the forefront!

I look forward to a home and school partnership with all families!  Our goals for this school year are:

•  60% of all our K-2nd students at Benchmark(grade level) as measured by early literacy and foundational skills assessments such as DIBELS
• Improve by 8 points on ELA Smarter Balance Assessment for grades 3-5
• Improve by 13 points on Math Smarter Balance Assessment for grades 3-5
• Improve by 3% on Social Emotional Well Being for our students as measured by the School Experience Survey.
